Cheap iPod Speakers that Sound Great

iPod docks are a dime a dozen and cost from $49 to $350. Honestly most of the ones between $49 and $100 don't sound very good. A great alternative is to use Multimedia speakers to fill iPod or MP3 speaker needs. The Speaker Company offers two great MP3 Player friendly speaker systems for under $50.

The MS21.2 comes in at just $35.97 and delivers 80 watts of Average Music Power Output (it gets loud) in a 2.1 speaker format. Most iPod or MP3 speakers don't have is the separate power amp for the subwoofer so they deliver weak or thin sounding bass. The advantage of the 2.1 format is the separate subwoofer amp which allows the MS21.2 to deliver that extra bass we all love. This unit sports a wired volume control that includes a separate control for the bass volume and an standard 1/8 input jack for your iPod or MP3 player, as well as a standard headphone jack.

The MS21.4 is only $45.97 and offers all the same useful features as the MS21.2 but includes a more powerful amp at 116 watts of Average Music Power Output.

Both units offer the advantage of placing the smaller satellites on your desk, dresser or shelf while hiding the subwoofer out of the way on the floor. Both units deliver crisp highs and satisfying lows. Why not try one today?
